What you will learn:
Women’s health has long been surrounded by stigma, embarrassment, and silence. Despite the prevalence of many conditions and experiences that affect women across all ages, societal norms often discourage open discussion. This silence can lead to misinformation, financial vulnerability delayed care, and unnecessary stress. Breaking the taboo around women’s health is essential—not only to raise awareness, but to ensure women have access to practical information, prevention strategies, and resources that support informed decision-making and proactive management. By fostering awareness and understanding, women can take control of their wellbeing with confidence.
Key learning:
- Increase awareness of common but often unspoken women’s health issues.
- Abnormal Pap Smear: Self-collection option, benefits of screening.
- Pelvic Pain & Endometriosis: Symptoms, diagnosis, support.
- Vulval Health: Understanding what’s normal.
- Urogynecology: Prolapse & incontinence explained.
- UTIs & Vaginal Health: Vaginal HRT, home UTI kits, OTC scripts.
- Provide practical information and resources for prevention and management.
- Encourage open dialogue and reduce stigma around these topics.
