Diversified Funds
Our diversified Funds are invested across different asset classes, investment styles and managers. The percentage allocated to each asset class varies. This means each diversified fund has a different risk and return profile.
The diversified Funds are:
- Capital Stable Fund
- Moderate Fund
- Balanced Fund
- Growth Fund
Single asset class Funds
We offer three single asset class Funds:
- Cash Fund
- Australian Equities Fund
- International Equities Fund
For each Fund we provide an indication of the level of risk using the Standard Risk Measure (SRM). This can be used to compare different options.
When you receive income distributions
Your investment generates income or capital gains, which we pay to you. This is called a distribution.
How often you get paid will depend on what type of Fund you’re invested in. Some Funds make quarterly distributions while others pay twice per year.
Asset allocations
See how our Investment Funds are invested. The asset allocations are published quarterly, as of the end of March, June, September, and December for the diversified options.

How the Investment Funds work
When you invest in a Fund, your money is pooled with other investors’ money to earn you a return. The money you invest is used to buy units, and units are cancelled whenever money is withdrawn. The number of units bought or cancelled depends on the current unit price.
Your share of any income, capital gains and tax offsets is paid to you as a distribution. Your distribution amount will depend on the number of units you hold in the Fund. You can request that your distributions be paid into your bank account. Or you can re-invest them into the Fund.
The Aware Investment Funds are issued by Aware Financial Services Australia Limited, which is wholly owned by Aware Super.
Our fees and costs cover the costs to manage your investment. The amount you pay varies depending on which investment option(s) you select.
You can learn more about our fees and costs in the Investment Funds PDS.
