Important dates for your transactions

All member and advice walk-in centres will close for Christmas from Wednesday, 24 December, and reopen on Thursday, 8 January 2026 at 9:00am. 
The member contact centre remains open on business days except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

Aware Super cannot guarantee receipt date of funds via BPAY®[L1] or Direct Debit, as it depends on your bank or credit union’s processing timeframes.

Withdrawing online
Your withdrawal request must be received by Aware Super by 16 December 2025. Please allow up to three business days for your bank to transfer the funds and be credited to your account.
Withdrawing by paper form
Your withdrawal request must be received by Aware Super by 12 December 2025.
Your fortnightly income payments
Income payment dates from your Retirement Income and Retirement Transition accounts will be made earlier on Friday, 19 December 2025 (instead of Wednesday, 24 December 2025).

Retirement Transition or Retirement Income account applications

All paper and online applications for a retirement account must be received by 5:00pm on 12 December 2025.

Switching investment options

  • Paper forms must be received by Aware Super by 30 December 2025.
  • Switch your investment options online before 3:00pm AEST/AEDT and it will be processed using the unit prices that apply for that day. 
  • You can make online switches on any business day if you submit them before 3:00 PM. If your request is submitted after 3:00 PM, it will be processed on the next business day^. Allow between 2-3 business days for switches to show in your account online.
