Help for those impacted by bushfires

We’re on standby to provide you care, guidance and support if you’ve been impacted by the recent bushfires.

Many of our members work in frontline health and emergency service roles and are first responders during this crisis. We appreciate their dedication and commitment.

We’ll keep monitoring the situation to make sure you can access the help and information you need during this time.

If you need emergency access to your super
You might be able to withdraw some of your super if you’re experiencing severe financial hardship. You can get more information on our financial hardship page.

If you need support for your mental health

You and your family can access mental health services at no additional cost if you have insurance with us. You can call Teladoc Health for these services on 1800 830 082.

If you need financial support from the government

You can apply for an emergency relief payment if you’ve been affected by the bushfires. To see if you’re eligible and apply for a payment, you can:

  • Call VicEmergency on 1800 226 226 if you live in Victoria or visit an emergency relief centre
  • Head to Services Australia for information on the Federal Disaster Recovery Payment, with claims open from 2pm Wednesday 14 January 2026.
