Overview

Our Balanced option is mostly invested in growth assets like shares and private equity. It has a target split of 75% growth assets and 25% defensive assets.

The Balanced option forms part of MySuper Lifecycle for members in the MANAGE phase (ages 56 to 64).

Why you’d invest

This might be a suitable option if you:
 

  • are seeking strong long-term returns,
  • can accept fluctuations in returns. This includes years when returns are negative, and
  • are prepared to stay invested in the option for 7 years or longer.
