Logging in and security PIN

To reset your password, go to 'forgot password' and follow the instructions. You’ll need your:

  • Member number or username, and
  • Your date of birth.

To find your member number, check any email or your statement from us, or our online search tool.

To help keep your account secure, we’ve introduced an extra step to log in.

After you enter your member number and password, we’ll send a PIN to your mobile number.

Just enter the PIN to complete the log in process.

It’s called multi-factor authentication and we use it for sensitive transactions too.

If you log in via desktop or an internet browser, you’ll have to use multi-factor authentication.

If you use the app, you can use a fingerprint or face scan (also known as biometrics).

You won’t need a PIN if you use a face or fingerprint scan to log into the app.

You will need a PIN if you log in with your member number or username and password.

You'll be asked to re-enter your PIN if you enter it incorrectly. If this doesn’t work, you can ask to resend a new PIN.

If you enter the incorrect PIN too many times, your account will be locked for ten minutes. After this time, you can retry.

Log in problems

There can be many reasons why you can’t log in, but here’s a few steps you can take.

  • Try changing your internet browser to Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
  • Try logging in from another device.
  • Try clearing your browser history in Settings.

Here’s how:

  • Google Chrome
    Click the menu icon in the browser upper right corner. Then, click Clear browsing data.
  • Microsoft Edge
    Click the menu icon in the browser upper right corner, then click Settings and Privacy.
    Then, click Clear browsing data.
  • Apple Safari
    Click the Safari menu, then select Empty cache.

If you’re using the app, check whether it’s the latest version and operating system.

You can check both of these via the app stores under the More information or About this app sections.

Account setup and mobile app

  1. Before you can log in, you’ll need to register and choose a username and password. You can do this on your desktop or app.
  2. Once you’re done, you’ll be ready to log in via your internet browser or app.

You’ll need to provide your mobile number too, so we can verify you.

The Aware Super app makes managing your super from your mobile device easy. You can use the app to:

  • Check your balance, transactions, fees and statements
  • View and change the way your money is invested
