Aware Super has announced Natalie Jarvis will join the fund in September to head up its Business Development function.
One of Australia’s largest industry super funds, Aware Super counts many of the nation’s essential workers among its 1.1 million members, including the largest concentration of educators and healthcare workers of any fund.
Ms Jarvis joins Aware Super from Australian Unity, where she has held the role of General Manager of Customer & Product. Her previous experience also includes leadership roles as BT’s Head of Corporate Super, and MLC’s Stronger Super Program Director.
Aware Super’s Group Executive, Member Growth, Steve Travis, said Ms Jarvis’ appointment would accelerate the fund’s strategies in the intermediated member market.
“We’re excited to welcome Natalie to the Aware Super team, and we’re certain her extensive leadership experience in financial services will help us drive several of our key strategies forward,” said Mr Travis.
“In particular, Natalie will play a key role in helping us accelerate our drive to sign on more independent financial advisers to our network, ensuring we’re continuing to strengthen our offer as Australia’s most helpful super fund.
“Natalie will also be a vital relationship partner for many of our key employers, ensuring that we continue to enhance these relationships and evolve the fund to meet employers’ everchanging needs.”
Ms Jarvis will commence with the fund on 13 September 2023.
