Aware Super has received a AAA Quality Rating for 2023 from one of Australia’s leading financial research houses, extending the fund’s long-running record of excellence in the ratings program.

The fund has again achieved the AAA Quality Rating from Rainmaker Information for its personal superannuation, employer-sponsored superannuation and pension accounts.

The rating is a stamp of approval given to products that pass a comprehensive range of best-practice measures and benchmarks.

In the super industry, Rainmaker Information rates products across measures including investment performance net of fees, charges and tax, organisational strength, communications and engagement, insurance and extra services.

Aware Super’s personal super, employer-sponsored super and pension accounts have now all achieved the AAA standard for 15 years or longer.

Steve Travis, Aware Super’s Group Executive, Member Growth, said: ”This achievement reflects the fact we’re not only one of Australia’s largest and best-performing super funds, we also go out of our way to be incredibly helpful to our 1.1 million members.

”We’re determined to give our members the personalised help they need, when they need it – and in the ways that suit them best – on their journey to and through retirement, with an extensive range of education, guidance and advice services and a market-leading digital offering.

”That our super and pension accounts have continued to receive this citation for many years running is testament to our long-running and steadfast dedication to help our members achieve the best possible retirement outcomes.”

Aware Super’s default MySuper Lifecycle Grow option has delivered an annual return of 9.4% on average over the past decade.

The recognition from Rainmaker Information comes after Aware Super was named Best Super Fund at Money Magazine’s prestigious annual awards, the Best of the Best, in recent months.

Among other recent accolades, Aware Super last month received an Outstanding Value award under Canstar’s 2023 Superannuation Star Ratings and Awards program, after receiving Canstar’s inaugural Most Satisfied Customers – Super Fund Award last year.
