How to register

Check your Licensee is registered with us

To register, the Licensee that you are authorised to provide financial advice services on behalf of must have a valid Licensee Agreement in place with us.

Have your adviser details on hand

You’ll need your Licensee details, along with your ASIC Financial Adviser Authorised Representative number.

Complete the online registration form

Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email with your Aware Super adviser code and Adviser Portal login information.

Alternatively, you can download and complete the Adviser Registration Form. Once completed you will need to email it to adviserservicing@aware.com.au.

By registering with Aware Super, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Connect with your clients through the Adviser Portal

If your Licensee is already registered with us, your adviser registration typically takes about 2 to 5 business days to complete.

If you are a new Licensee, the process may take up to four weeks, you can reach out to your Business Development Manager if you have any questions or need any help with registration.

Why register as an adviser with Aware Super?

When you register as an adviser with us you will get access to our dedicated Adviser Portal and priority processing to add you as the nominated adviser to your clients' Aware Super account(s). 

Once you have registered, to start transacting on your clients’ behalf, you will need to complete an Adviser Nomination request via the Adviser Portal.

By having an adviser nomination in place, you will be able to: 
 

  • view and initiate transactions for your clients through the Adviser Portal,
  • register for the Client Data Exchange Service which allows client data to be sent automatically to Xplan,  
  • deduct advice fees,
  • gain access to our dedicated Adviser Solutions Team, and
  • access to our experienced and dedicated Business Development Team.

How to transact

To start transacting on your clients’ behalf, you’ll need to have an Adviser Nomination in place. You can request an Adviser Nomination via the Adviser Portal. Alternatively, you can complete and return the Adviser Nomination form which can be found via the ‘Find forms and documents’ link.

 

Support staff

Once the Licensee and Financial Adviser are registered with us, we can register support staff for access to the Adviser Portal. A Support Staff Registration form would need to be completed and returned to us for support staff to gain access to the Adviser Portal.
