Limited service period

We're currently making changes to our systems, and we will have limited services over the phone and email from 1 May 2023 to 9am (AEST) 10 May 2023. This includes delays in processing refund requests and member contributions being applied. We appreciate your patience while we make these changes and apologise for any inconvenience.

There is no disruption to the Aware Super Clearing House.

We are making a range of changes that will simplify our business to deliver the best possible experience for our members and employers. 

What our employer partners need to know and do

During the change period, there will be some limits to our services. You'll also need to take some important actions. Here are the key actions and dates to note.


  1. Submit your March end-of-quarter contributions by 20 April 2023
  2. Take note of the limited service period: 1-10 May 2023
  3. Take note of the new employer contact details from 1 May 2023
  4. Note the simpler insurance categories being applied from 1 May 2023

1. Submit your end-of-quarter contributions by 20 April

No matter your payment method, we recommend you submit your March end-of-quarter super contributions and payments before 4pm, Thursday 20 April 2023. This will ensure your March super contributions are received in time.

To meet March end-of-quarter contributions processing we will need to receive payments before 5pm, Friday 28 April 2023. Please remember Tuesday 25 April 2023 is a national public holiday, ANZAC day.

2. Take note of the limited service period – 1 to 10 May

Between 1 May 2023 and 9am, 10 May 2023, we will be upgrading our systems. During this period, our services will be limited. There will be delays to processing refund requests, and contributions being applied to member accounts.

The Aware Super clearing house, via SuperChoice, will still be available. So, you can continue to make employer contributions as normal. 

The employer portal will not be available from 3pm, 26 April 2023.

3. New employer contact details from 1 May

From 9am, 1 May 2023, we’re changing our employer contact details. Our new operating hours and phone number for you to contact us will change to:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (AEST/AEDT)

4. Simpler insurance categories from 1 May

Each of our employer partners are given an insurance category. This is based on the duties of their employees. From 1 May, we’re reducing and simplifying our insurance categories. Your employee members can still apply to be occupationally rated. They can do this by logging into their account.
