Important EOFY dates 

We’re here to help you stay on track as we approach the end of the financial year. To ensure your client’s transactions are processed this financial year, please note the processing cut-off dates below for implementing client strategies.

Transaction types

Week commencing 25 May 2026

Sequential transaction requests – Any strategy requiring two related transactions where the second can only occur after the first is completed.

Example: double cash out and re-lodge 

Week commencing 25 May 2026

Recontribution strategies dependent on pension payments – Where timing of pension payments is required to complete the strategy.

Pension payments are processed 13 June 2026. To ensure an annual pension payment is made this financial year, applications must be submitted by 5 June 2026.

Week commencing 1 June 2026  Strategies with advice fees processed mid-implementation – Includes requests involving a cash out where an advice fee is deducted during implementation. 
Week commencing 8 June 2026  Strategies with advice fees processed post implementation (prior to EOFY) – Typically single contribution or re-lodge strategies where fees are deducted after implementation but before 30 June 2026.
Week commencing 8 June 2026 Basic strategies only – Simple transactions that do not require sequencing or pension dependencies.
19 June 2026 Advice fee requests – Final date to ensure advice fees are processed before 30 June 2026.
22 June 2026 

Withdrawals – Paper withdrawal requests must be received by these dates to be processed this financial year.  

  • Paper forms: must be received by 22 June 2026 
  • Online requests: must be submitted by 23 June 2026 
Paper pension applications Must be received by 5:00pm 23 June
24 June 2026  Contributions (BPAY and direct debit via Member Online) – Must be received by this date to be applied in the 2025/26 financial year.  
26 June 2026 Investment switches (online and paper) – Final date for submission to be processed before 30 June 2026. 

The dates outlined above are to assist with contribution funds being received and banked with Aware by 30 June 2026.

Aware cannot guarantee receipt date of funds via BPAY or Direct Debit, It is dependent on the members financial institution processing time frames.

30 June 2026 falls on Tuesday, we recommend members submit BPAY or Direct Debit requests early the week prior, so we receive the funds by Friday 26 June 2026.

To avoid delays or missed deadlines, please ensure all requests are submitted by the relevant cut-off date. For further guidance or support, contact our team.
