We’re delighted to welcome you to Aware Super, following our Successor Fund Transfer (SFT) with VISSF on 30 November 2021.
You are now part of one of Australia’s largest industry super funds, managing $154 billion in savings for 1.1 million Australians^1 and Australia’s largest superannuation provider for the primary and secondary education sector.
Being an Aware Super member means you’re with a super fund that aims to do well for you and good for all – delivering top investment performance^2, greater investment choice, competitive fees^3 and a range of services to meet your needs. You’ll also have access to local advice, services and support in Victoria, delivered with the backing of a national team.

Your new Aware Super account
Keep an eye out for your Aware Super welcome pack. We previously let you know that this would be posted from mid-December but there has been a delay in sending the welcome packs. The welcome packs will now be posted from 22 December. This includes your new member number, account snapshot and a flyer with steps for setting up your new account for success. Until you have received your welcome pack, you are able to call 13 AWARE to request information on your account.
Online account access
You will need your Aware Super member number to register for access to your Aware Super account online or using the . To make sure we can verify who you are when you register online or on the app, we will need your mobile number registered on your account. If you haven’t provided VISSF with your mobile number prior to the transfer, you will need to call us on 13AWARE to update your account details before registering online.
Your VISSF online account access is no longer available.

Your Aware Super accumulation account comes with a range of insurance benefits and options for eligible members, all designed to help protect you and your family from the financial impacts of unexpected events. Your Welcome pack will include details of your insurance cover and an insurance flyer outlining the options available to you to make changes to your cover.
MySuper Lifecycle is Aware Super’s default super investment approach that tailors your investments to your needs and age, to help you retire with more. Your age can play a big part in what you need from your super - whether you’re looking to grow your savings while you’re younger, manage the balance between risk and return as you move through life, or enjoy your savings in retirement. VISSF Exit Statement and Significant Event Notice
In addition to our Welcome Pack arriving in mid-December, look out for an Exit Statement from VISSF arriving shortly after. Information and documents regarding VISSF products referred to in this statement are available on request. Please contact us if you require these documents.
Prior to transfer, VISSF sent all members a letter known as a Significant Event Notice (SEN) which outlines the changes occurring as a result of this merger.
